A message from MMC about COVID-19

Members Mortgage Company takes the health and wellbeing of our customers and staff very seriously. We’re keeping up to date on the current guidance from the CDC and WHO on the status of COVID-19 (“the coronavirus”). Here’s what we’re doing—and what you can do.

For borrowers:

While we don’t get many office visits, we have been politely requesting borrowers (and CU staff) submit documents online as much as possible, either via email to their loan officer, or uploaded directly into MortgageClick. We are trying to be flexible and understanding—within reason and any regulations-- about response times from borrowers regarding their mortgage loans. If you have a member struggling to start, or proceed, with their mortgage, please feel free to call (800) 316-9790.

At our office:

  • We’re increasing our cleaning schedule from every other day to every single weekday, and we’re beginning to use more powerful disinfectants, especially on high-touch points; doors, phones, elevator buttons, bathroom stall doors, etc.
  • We’re testing and retesting our remote access capabilities so that employees can keep up with daily tasks without endangering their health.
  • And of course, employees are request to stay home if they feel ill, or believe they have come in contact with a COVID-19 patient.

  • What you can do:

    • Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before eating, after coughing, sneezing, or using the bathroom. Review the CDC’s info on proper hand-washing.
    • Use a 60% alcohol hand sanitizer if soap and water aren’t readily available.
    • Avoid close contact with other people, especially if they appear sick.
    • Use a disinfectant wipe on door handles, elevator buttons, and other high-touch surfaces.
    • Wipe down your workspace regularly—especially the phone, keyboard, and mouse.
    • If you feel ill—don’t go to work! Stay home, or—if necessary—seek medical care. Even if it’s not COVID-19, you don’t want to risk the health of people around you.
